Does anyone know firearm restoration smith that does it right?

In my opinion any old firearms are worth restoring, but by the right smith, most smiths restore firearms and devalue them by doing wrong job, changing texture, applying wrong finish, grinding and file out markings .... all because of luck of history research, eye for details and skill experience.
